A palavra hebraica גַּלְגַּל galgal significa “roda que gira” aparece para referir-se ao carro celestial (Ezequiel 10:13).
A visão de Ezequiel descreve seres celestiais e um trono móvel, com rodas dentro de rodas, que se movem em sincronia e parecem estar cheias de olhos. A palavra galgal neste contexto sugere um movimento complexo e dinâmico. Sua image transmite ideias de majestade, onipresença e controle de Deus.
