Proto-trinitarismo

Proto-trinitarismo refere-se às formulações que concebem Deus como uma multiplicidade complexa, todavia sendo um único Deus, antes dos consensos cristãos formulados nos concílios de Niceia e Calcedônia.

Nas Escrituras Hebraicas elementos aparecem no “Anjo de Yahweh” e no “YHWH katan”, bem como em personificações do Espírito (Ruach), Sabedoria (Sophia), Glória (Shekinah), Palavra (Memra) e Filho do Homem. Também, Deus aparece como uma pleroma divina, assembleia divina ou em uma corte celestial.

No período do Segundo Templo esses elementos fruíram em concepções mais pluriúnicas de Deus por autores como Filo, os Targum, no chamado judaísmo enoquiano das pseudoepígrafas, no proto-rabinismo e na patrística cristã.
