Bruce Metzger (1914-2007) foi um biblista e crítico textual americano.
Metzger trabalhou na crítica textual dos manuscritos e outras fontes antigas usadas para reconstruir o texto do Novo Testamento.
Trabalhou junto da Sociedade Bíblica Alemã, American Bible Society e da Sociedades Bíblicas Unidas em edições acadêmicas e traduções do Novo Testamento. Desenvolveu sua longa carreira no Princeton Theological Seminary. Era ministro ordenado presbisteriano.
